Due to the increasing unpredictability of international shipping costs originating in the US, fluctuating carrier rates, and complex customs duties, we've made the difficult decision to suspend international shipping at this time.
Currently, we are only offering shipping within the U.S. and Canada.
If you're located outside these regions and are interested in placing an order, feel free to reach out through our contact form. Include a list of items you wish to purchase and your shipping address and so we can review your request and respond with a shipping rate for your order in 2 business days.
Please note: Any import duties or taxes will be the responsibility of the recipient.

Extended Holiday Gift Return and Exchange Policy 2025:
To make holiday gifting easier, we offer an extended return and exchange period for qualifying gift purchases made starting 11/01/25 are eligible for return or exchange through 01/31/26 with a gift receipt or original receipt number.
Exchanges resulting in a credit of more than $20 will be issued a non-expiring gift card for the remaining balance. Returns for a purchase price refund will be credited to a gift card or as a return credit to the original form of payment only. No refunds beyond 60 days of original purchase. All other return and exchange policies apply.

Returns and exchanges at The Handmade Showroom are accepted within 30 days of the original date of purchase and are subject to the policies below.

If you are planning an exchange for a different size or color, we strongly recommend calling the store first so we can verify stock and set the item aside for you.
To ship your return items to us for an exchange, credit, or refund, you must first obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number.
Please contact us with your receipt code or order number to receive complete return instructions and your personalized RA number prior to shipping your item(s).
Please note: Returned items received without prior authorization may not be credited properly. Please contact us first before mailing your items!

Exchanges of holiday gifts purchased in November & December are accepted through Jan. of the following year with a valid receipt code, provided the item is in new, unworn, unwashed condition with all the original tags still attached. Balances over $20 will be credited to a fully transferrable, non-expiring THS gift card or online code if requested.
Please note that requests for refund will be credited back to the original form of payment.
Cash refunds are given only if the original form of payment was made in cash.
No returns for refund after 60 days from the original purchase date. All other return and exchange rules apply.

We are proud to offer this service to ensure your purchase is fun, easy to gift, and ready for any occasion!
Yes! We are happy to hold items for up to 24 hours if you'd like to come in to see it in person*.
The best way to let us know you're interested in an item is to call us during business hours so we can immediately pull the item(s) off of the sales floor for you.
You can also contact us via our online form or email, however confirming your request may take us anywhere from a few hours to a day depending on when we receive your request.
*Please note that items placed on hold without a deposit may be purchased online at any time.
If this happens, we will contact you ASAP to let you know that the item is no longer available.

We are currently represent work by US-based artists and designers exclusively, preferring to work with individual and independent artists directly when possible.
We do not consider work by artists or collectives based outside of the US at this time.
Yes! While the majority of our artists live and work in the Pacific NW region of the US, we have expanded our scope to include collections by artists from all over the United States who have little to no representation in the Seattle, WA area.

Please keep in mind that we receive a large number of applications with limited space available. For most applications, we keep the information on file just in case a spot opens up in the corresponding category.

We review new applications at least once a week.
Each submission is carefully considered based on the following categories:
We are currently at maximum capacity for most categories, so even if your work is the perfect fit for us, we might have to wait until there is availability in your category before we can send you an invitation to join us. We ask for your patience while we find a place for your work.
If, upon reviewing your application, we find that your collection is not a good fit for our customer base, we will try to let you know as soon as possible, but we do have quite a few submissions sent to us weekly so it could take a while for us to email you.
In general, we will say that no news is good news - if your work is still being considered, we will keep your information on file and refer back to our list when an opening is coming up.
Please note that if we do happen to send an email letting you know that your work is not a good fit for us right now, that Does NOT mean that we think your work is bad or anything of the sort! The truth is, in order to present a cohesive collection of work in our store, we must be laser focused on our customer's needs and plan new additions accordingly. It truly is not personal!
We are pretty busy most days, so we are not able to accept unscheduled appointments for product review.
The best way to get in front of us is to fill out an application to introduce us to your work first before trying to set up an appointment with us.
